Life presents us with challenges. Maybe you feel uncertain about your relationship with the Divine or you would like to deepen it. Maybe aspects of your outer or inner life are troubling you. Maybe you need a break, a rest, an opportunity to fill your cup, after you have been giving and giving. Maybe re-discovering and grounding in what is really important to you would be beneficial….
Healing Retreats are an opportunity for transformation and healing in the physical, emotional, relationship, and spiritual domains of our being. The approach is through the spiritual perspective and is not intended as a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Healing can happen on many levels and in many ways and not necessarily as we think or wish it.
Isa, a Healing Retreat Guide, Cherag (Reverend), Healing Conductor and Reiki Master, has 20+ years of accumulative training and experience in the field of healing: through the Inayati, Sufi Healing and Dervish Healing Orders, with Cherokee Healer Grandmother River and working as a grief therapist. Each retreat is designed according to the needs of the retreatant and respects and utilizes, as much as possible, the spiritual frame work of the retreatant. That could be a specific faith, your own personal blend or a non-religious perspective.
A retreat can vary in length from one to seven days and nights or more. You will be provided with a private room and bath in Isa’s rural residence near Elmira, Oregon. Nature is very accessible via the porch, woods and meadows on the property and a meditation garden. A trail leading into the neighboring woods beyond is under construction.
Retreat food is typically light and vegan. Please let Isa know of any restrictions you might have. There will be simple breakfast and lunch options in the room, that you can prepare yourself or you may bring your own. A hot meal is provided in the evening.
Isa will meet with you before the retreat for an orientation. During the retreat she will meet with you once in the mornings and if so desired, again in the evenings. You will be given practices for each day, that may include using breath, sound (chants, mantras/wazaif, dhikr), light, prayer, visualization, energy centers, nature concentrations, walks, music, writing and creative expressions. If it appeals to you, please bring music that inspires you, art materials and for sure a journal. Be prepared to leave your life outside the gate, so you can be fully present during the precious time you have carved out.
